If you can’t afford an idea consultation right now, this page is your best friend. (Actually, it’s one of your best friends. You have two best friends. You’re like the three musketeers, along with this page right here. Y’all are tight, okay?)

This work is worth nothing to us if we can’t use it to help people. Sure, there are plenty of people who need help and can afford our rates, but there are many — maybe people like you — who need the help more, and don’t have $75 bucks lying around for a half-hour of brainstorming and idea work. The folks who can afford it have tons of options. The folks who can’t afford it have limited options — and I’d like to add a few more options to your arsenal.

If you’re completely broke, follow the RSS feed or our Twitter stream and watch for the Idea Free-For-Alls — open threads we post every so often so that everyone can ask questions, propose problems, and request assistance. These threads stay open for hours or for weeks, and we hang out generating ideas and making plans and finding solutions. If you need help, we’ll help you out — or someone else will. We’ve got you covered.

If you have a little bit of money set aside for consulting and you want to work with us privately, you want to get in on Friday Halfsies. For the foreseeable future, all Idea Consulting calls booked on Fridays can be available at half cost. This will apply to any consulting slot I can fit into a Friday for someone who needs Halfsies, so the earlier you can set it up, the better. I’m assuming that Friday Halfsies will fill up faster than the rest of my week, so here’s where you can pay and schedule your call:
